Chapter 18

“Filthy, what the fuck is goin’ on?! You talked all that shit but ain’t nothin’ happen yet! I’m startin’ to think you just bullshittin’!” Kaleesha yelled at him over the phone. Filthy had been dodging her calls for the past few days and she was surprised that she was finally able to get in contact with him. Now that she had, she wanted an update.

“Chill, Kaleesha. Just because I ain’t told you nothin’ don’t mean I ain’t plottin’!”

“Well don’t you think you should’ve been gotten up with me? I’m helpin’ ya ass, nigga! I’m the one that got Outlaw to go back to Shantreis. If it wasn’t for my lil’ pep talk then he’d be with me right now,” she huffed.

Filthy narrowed his eyes. “You talkin’ like you wanna be with that muthafucka!”

“I’m not sayin’ that, I’m just sayin’…” Kaleesha said, trying to fix her slip-up.

She liked Filthy but it wasn’t serious by any means. For now she would play her position and have him believe that she was feeling him just as much as he was her. “He would’ve still been tryna sleep over my house if it wasn’t for me and there would’ve been no guarantees that he would’ve reconciled with that bitch.”

“Yeah okay,” he replied, unconvinced. “Anyway, I found out that Shantreis been cheatin’ on Outlaw with my cousin Blaze. He from Richmond.”

“Shit! That’s where Shantreis from!”

“I know. They used to fuck around back in the day, and evidently now too.”

“Outlaw don’t know about it?” Kaleesha gasped as she placed a hand over her mouth in shock.

“No,” Filthy said as if the answer should’ve been common knowledge. “Do you think he’d still be with that bitch if he knew? Anyway, nobody’s gonna tell his ass either—that means you, Kaleesha. I ain’t even wanna tell you about it.”

She sucked her teeth. “Whatever, nigga. I can keep a damn secret. Anyway, what the hell do Blaze got to do with it? He gonna help you rob Outlaw?”

“Nah. He’s actually gonna bring Shantreis to me… It’s a change of plans, I wanna kidnap Shantreis.”

Kaleesha rolled her eyes. That was his big plan? “Really, Filthy?” she asked unenthused. “That shit ain’t gonna work.” She had originally come up with the plan to rob Outlaw but Filthy was the one that insisted he come up with the particulars since he was going to be the one to carry it out.

“Hear me out. Most niggas don’t keep much where they lay they head at and shit could go awry if we had to hold that nigga at gunpoint and have him lead us to the stash,” Filthy stated, matching her tone. “It’ll be better this way, trust me, baby. We kidnap his bitch and tell him how much we want for her. He’ll drop it off; we’ll get the money and boom! We paid out the ass!”

“Be for real. Outlaw ain’t gonna pay that much for that bitch,” Kaleesha said with jealousy lacing her tone.

“He loves that girl.” Filthy smirked. “Even you know that.
